Psychological Testing
A key first step in the development of a therapeutic plan is clearly defining what disorders may be impacting a child or adolescent. The assessments I use can be summarized into three categories:
- Social emotional
- Psychoeducational
- Accommodations Testing
The assessments objectively measure a patient’s responses and assist in determining if the problems are associated with disorders such as:
- Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
- Learning Disabilities
- Dyslexia
- Dyscalculia
- Dysgraphia
- And others
